For ''NextChess2'' topic, bifurcation pieces may need re-introduction. Let's feature bifurcation piece as one of the three CVs for year 2013 in ongoing study of how Chess ought to evolve. Venator is among several dozen bifurcation pieces, and most are set on 68 squares with four corner squares. Provoctor, Dimaecher, DoubleCannon, DoubleBarrel are some others already shown in examples under ProblemThemes, illustrating complete positions with no pieces having been captured and one side unable to move at all(''ProblemThemes'' a thread mostly during 2007). There are two equal messages within bifurcation pieces' implementation: one, that generally bifurcators are worthwhile and, two, that just 68 squares is adequate expansion -- for all Crazy Queen 64's problems and sure demise over next decade.
