A King is severely threatened by the opponent Queen's Guarding which would checkmate with the line half-open and unprotected . I don't know whether players would be encouraged to attack with Guarding or discouraged to defend opponent Guarding . They may also reserve Guarding for a fatal strike preventing from early and easy moving of Queen . 

PS : I haven't played this variant for more than two years , which is not good of a CV inventor .
