'leaps one orthogonal then one diagonal in the same direction' - is it chess knight or xiang-qi knight (non-leaping)? And (if knight's move is leaping, of course) why all pieces have confusing Chinese names if they all (expect pawns) are most common pieces from western chess variants? But i like idea of special royal amazones/maharajas, it's very interesting. If knight's move is leaping, it would be interesting to play with non-leaping knight moves (including moves of compound pieces). good hybrid of variants of chess, xiang-qi and shogi (some xiang-qi and shogi variants have queen-moving pieces to, compounds with Chinese knight interestingly continue this). But if knighht here is not Chinese, description of it's move is confusing, why not use one of more common descriptions of it's move?
