Moreover, Karen Robinson's comments take us to this Dudeney puzzle, which new Alphanumeric on 6x6 is reminiscent of. The similarity is to get the pieces across the board, although Bodlaender forgets to say that. Also existing puzzle of Karen Robinson that expands the idea to 64 squares.
