Scrabble(TM) has greater SE quadrant 8x8. For convenience a-h and 1-8 differ from professional Scrabble(TM) notation. Only * (=Double or Triple Word) corresponds to actual official bonus squares. ~ is (Quadruple Word), - is (Quadruple Letter). There are seven(renewable) tiles and two chess pieces in hand each player: White b&n,
8  *H___E___D___G___E___R___ ___*   Black r&n. Pieces are blockers and
7    ___ ___ ___ ___ ___O___ ___    no tile or piece may stand
6    __- ___ ___ ___ ___O___ ___    on same square. Each turn has
5    ___ ___b___ ___ __-K___ ___    two mandatory legs in order:
4    ___ __~ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___    either dropping or moving any
3    ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___    chess piece on board and

                                     Notice that chess pieces are moved
or dropped strategically to prevent easy play of words for high points.

ChessRabble after Scrabble(tm) 15x15 makes a good chess game, an unusual
size. Each quadrant, sharing a border, is a perfect 8x8. In the year
8 *H__E__D__G__E__R__ __* since the last move, we decide to allow
7   __ __ __ __ __O__ __    proper nouns and not be particular about
6   _- __ __n__ __O__F__    hyphenations or accents.  Several of the next
5 __ __P__O__O__K__A__ plays are actual CVs. The next move is here:
4   __ _~ __ __ __ __L__    White plays 3) Bishop f2-e3; a1 ANTIKING
3   __ __ __ __b__ __C__     39 points. Black plays 3) ...n b7-d6;
2   __ __ __ _- __ __O__     c5 POOKA  10 points.
1 *A__N__T__I__K__I__N__G*
   a  b  c  d  e  f  g  h   White leads 81 points to Black 71 points.

ChessRabble after Scrabble(tm) 15x15 because each scrabble quadrant is
chess board 8x8. A year ago at the last move, we started allowing Proper.
8 *H__E__D__G__E__R__ __* Caps are lettered tiles, and small are chess
7  E__ __ __ __ __O__ __   pieces interfering. Notation is just a-h and
6  X_- __ __ __ __O__F__   1-8 unlike professional scrabble. * is Double/
5 E__ __P__O__O__K__A__ Triple Word, and ~ is quadruple word, and - is
4  T__ _~ __ __n__ __L__   quadruple letter. No tile or piece may stand
3  E__ __ __ __ __ __C__   on same space. Play is chess, then tiles.
2  R__ __ __b_- __ __O__   For THIS YEAR's move White plays 4) Bishop
1 *A__N__T__I__K__I__N__G* e3-d2; a8 HEXETERA (lavieri's hexagonal cv).
   a  b  c  d  e  f  g  h  White gets 68 points for 141 point total, because of using 6 letters. 6 letters out of 7 get the 50 too in ChessRabble.  Black plays 4)...Knight d6-e4;
 [What is Black's best, or next best, chess-variant play pointwise or strategically? It has to be CV piece-type or game or genre already tagged word-wise. Documented in other words, no sly inventive fly-by-nights.]
