Because I had an overstock of shortrange pieces, most of them my own, I used them in the presets. Jeremy Good and I are pushing pieces in both. On the 12x12, I tried to create a smallish, balanced, very powerful shortrange army. Each rank back increases in power. While the 10x10 has decently strong pieces, its unusual feature is the different pairings of pieces. There are 8 pairs of identical pieces, and those 16 pieces, along with the remaining 4, also form 6 families of similar pieces. These include 4 pairs of colorbound pieces which form 2 families. I'm trying to break a few stereotypes with these games. Probably just proving I'm crazy instead. Edit Form You may not post a new comment, because ItemID Big-board CV:s does not match any item.
