Game Courier's movement notation is programming code with recognition of simple algebraic notation built into it. It is designed as a series of sequential operations, so that it works with just about any Chess variant. It would not work with the compact way you want to express multiple operations. For movement, Game Courier uses -, not :. This use is adopted from algebraic notation, though it extends the use of - for capturing moves. For multiple operations in the same move, it uses the ; operator, which is commonly used to end a line of code in many programming languages, including GAME Code. I would not recommend the use of & for anything you want to pass to a form through an URL, because HTML uses the & to separate form variable assignments from one another.
