You can also use Mobipocket Creator to convert the pdf to a Mobi book,
readable in Mobipocket Reader (also for Windows) and Kindle. This means
that one can insert comments, etc. Mobipocket is discontinued, but their
site is still up, containing hundreds of free ebooks, also Lasker's book
on chess strategy, etc.
