at least temporarily, Bario received fifty comments in the first ten days it appeared:  http://www.chessvariants.org/index/listcomments.php?itemid=Bario.  Author Alex has made only this one rules-set, interpreted from German journal about 1999 (the same year as other current-comment game Pi).
