I would like to know how the black Rook is pinned.

I think it is because the rule of capture in the rules is only for rook/queens. I think anything can capture kings and kings can capture anything. (I am not sure. Could the author/inventor clarify this?)

Yes, mutual capture between pieces (other than the king) is restricted.
Pieces give check like regular rooks/queens. The king is restricted to its
castle, but within the castle moves and captures like a king or knight.
