Something appears to be wrong ... I cast my votes, and the summary page shows only one person voting, but it includes games I didn't vote for. I tried the fields at the top of the form to review votes, but it goes to the GC Tournament #1 page, saying that the tournament is over.

Things should be working right now.

Slide Chess, Symmetron and Toddler appear twice in the poll, once alphabetically and once between Fusion Diamond and Gast Chess. Thus Slide Chess has five votes and three votes, although it probably doesn't amount to eight.

The ones that appeared out of order came from deleted database records, but instead of actually being deleted, these records were simply marked as deleted. So I identified the row item for whether a record is deleted, and now have the poll skip over deleted records. This has eliminated the out-of-order appearance of these games. Slide Chess now has just three votes. Those who voted for it should recheck their votes to make sure they are still voting for it.

Please, put this poll in a visible place into 'What´s New?' Page, by example, in substitution of 'First Game Courier Tournament'. I´m sure there is people which has not seen this poll yet. Everybody is encouraged to vote, independently if one finally decides join the Tournament or not (but everybody is also encouraged to join the Tournament. Have you missed the First Tournament?. Join the second!. It is much more fun than you can imaginate). By the way, VOTE!!!

Can anybody re-arrenge the 'What´s New Page'?. This Poll must be in a visible place, I suggest in substitution of the 'First Courier Tournament' window. Other thing: the section 'POLLS' seem to be inutile. There is not information of any kind there.

If you have not played the FIRST GAME COURIER TOURNAMENT, I have announced I´m going to PAY the inscription of the first FOUR NEW PLAYERS (Those who have not played the First Tournament), using the prize I have gained with my second place in the first tournament (30$). I´ll pay with it my inscription and the inscription of Antoine Fourriere (he paid mine the last time), The rest is 20 $, enough for paying four inscriptions (I suppose the fee is 5$, if this is not the fee, some re-calculations must be made) ( Observation: NEW PLAYERS ONLY, as an incentive!). If the number of new players is less than four, the remaining money is going to be added to the TOTAL AMMOUNT for prizes in the second tournament. If the number of new players is superior to four, only the first four formalized inscriptions are going to be free (i.e., pre-paid by me)

If you have not voted yet, you can do it until Dec. 31th. All members and users can vote, you only need your userid. It is not the need you play the Tournament, but you are encouraged to do it, it is a very nice experience, this is not an usual Chess Tournament, it is a Meta-Chess Tornament in which you can play a selection of cool variants!. If you visit this Pages frequently, you must know this is one of the reasons of the existence of The Chess Variants Pages, offer different alternatives to FIDE-Chess for playing and enjoying, so you are invited to feel the essence of Chess in its multiple manifestations... And if you have already voted and would like to review or change your votes, you can do it. Remember, the dead line is Dec. 31th.

I've voted and I'll play. Where do we sign up to play? And does it cost anything to play?

Peter, you must wait until the complete information is available, I´m not the organizer, so I have not more information yet. Once finished the first round of the voting poll, there is a second round in January, but only around 20-25 games are going to be voted, the games with more number of votes in the first round, the objective is the definitive selection of games to be played in the Tournament, and the number depends on inscriptions. The process for inscription in the Tournament has not been stablished yet, but you are going to get the information soon. I don´t know if there is a fee to pay neither how much it can be (usually 5 $), but by the way, if you are going to participate, as you are a new player, I´m going to pay the fee for you if your inscription is one of the first three or four (it depends on the fee), this offer is only valid for new players, and I´m going to use the prize obtained by my second place in the first Tournament for this, as an incentive for new players.
