Has nobody ever downloaded this file to notice this? Unlike the others, this one doesn't have any file folders built in, regardless of whether 'Use Folder Names' is clicked or not. No matter how hard I try, I can't find a way to create folders or organize the files the way the .ZRF file demands, so it always gives me an error message reading, The following bitmap couldn't be loaded: 'images\Omega\Omega.bmp' The BMP file opens in an image editor, so it doesn't seem to be corrupt.

Fixed. Thanks for the feedback...

Thanks, but it still has precisely the same problem. So does Glinski's hex chess. Maybe I really am doing something wrong. But others have worked fine and I'm double-checking everything.

I have the same observation pointed out by (?), it is still the problem. Please revise it.

I am in the same situation. I also can't play alf-Grand Chess,
alf-courier... This seems connected to the fact that when I try to open
the boards with Paint under Windows XP, I get only a black image. I
haven't had the same problem with later(?) boards, e.g. for Chess on a
Longer Board with a few pieces added. Regarding Glinski, it concerns only
the hex6x6gs.bmp file.
(I could open the Francis Monkman courier2 file from courier1.zip with
Paint and tweak it to get a 12x8 board for Jacks and Witches.)

After some installation problems (had to do some manual changes to
Omega.bmp) i got it running. Those changes were the following: get a
printscreen of the omega board, edit it to fit the original picture size,
save it on top of the original omega.bmp.
Though I liked the game idea, i must say the AI is too easy. I got an
easy
win (took back 2 moves only :) ) in a 1st try. Maybe that's because I
have
~22XX ELO rating in regular chess..
huh, anyway this is smth i'd like to play in regular tournament, as it
throws away all those boring 20moves depth opening lines.

I can't get the game to work either. It just keeps on saying. 'Unable to
load 'Omega.bmp'
