don't think you should worry if it is a 'chess variant' or not, i
rather like the idea of it not being a chess variant actually.
i mean, the pieces are very 'chessy' anyway, it just doesn't have the
'mate' or 'capture king' rule.
you can always try 2 variants if this is a 'worry' to you.
updated--> oh wait, now it is more complex? i really would need to play
this game .. anyway, still, i did like the idea of winning by getting
both travellers to end of board, but i can't be sure without playing.
regardless, it all sounds interesting, good etc.
