Well, this one is odd in that there is no proposed rule to make Camel
Chess a form of drop Chess. If we adopt this one, I suppose someone could
then propose one, but really, this seems like an orphan to me.

I like this one! I suspect mostly it would happen as a result of a player
setting up his own pieces to promote a Pawn. And what happens if you end up with a line of King:Pawn:King? Maybe promotion to Commoner?

Cute idea, but it seems unlikely to have much actual effect on the game.
