Many variantists agree with the part of Kasparov's answer: ''But if you just want to eliminate everything and call it purity--no it is not purity, it's nonsense.'' That's why, beyond FRC, 20 to 60 CVs in fixed line-ups should evolve, because Chess has always been about preparation and opening theory together with natural talent and developed technique in complicated unknown positions.
