Rendering of submitted non-HTML texts has been broken for years on this
site: it completely ignores line breaks, and just heaps everything typed
between empty lines into one big paragraph. Worst of this is that it
completely messes up all tables that were present in the text. I post on
many forums, and I have never yet encountered one that mutilates user input
anywhere close to what happens here.
