Regarding moving my White Advancer to j6 (giving check unannounced by the Applet generated preset in my game of Butterfly Chess with Joe Joyce in the following link), I have now assumed you both have long stopped looking for an [easy] way I can make that Advancer move over-the-board and make it my chosen move, with someone first somehow changing the preset to announce check by the Advancer.
I don't even understand how Applet generated presets evaluate legal moves. So I have not been looking into this.
