Yes Fergus, I believe they move as you described in different terms than I did. I'll try to get around soon to adding diagrams for these two pieces, at the least, for further clarification.

Diagrams for the Thunderbird and Pegasus could be helpful. I'm assuming that the Thunderbird can leap to any non-adjacent space that is adjacent to an adjacent space, and the Pegasus can leap to any non-adjacent space that is adjacent to a space the Thunderbird can leap to.
