I mistook "cvp" as "CUP" - sorry. Thanks! :-)

Ben Reiniger wrote on Sat, Dec 6, 2014 12:28 PM EST:
My email listed there is correct; make sure you have an underscore ("_") between the name and the "cvp". (If that fails, you can also just email the general contact email and I'll get to it.)

Ben, please just email me if you don't want to post it here. Thank you.

Ben, is the email listed on your person page accurate? I tried to email you and it came back.

Many of the old links on the CVP can be found archived on the Wayback Machine. Here's a link to an archived version of the second link's rules page:

I recently acquired this game and no rules were included. Can someone please share or copy the rules, or point me to where I can find them? Much searching has brought me here--hopefully someone can help. Thanks!

I am surprised to see so many people who love this game! I have been
playing with competent players since 1995. I was present in the glory days
of the working internet version (also during the buggy beta versions?!). I
played the patentees' (Rick and Henry) several times and Bill Cosby once,
for a couple of moves.

My friends and I still play approx. 2 x per month. I am, and have been the
greatest player I know of and will accept any 'correspondence challenge'
to prove it. I will have a website which happily shares my accumulated
knowledge up by June 09. My address is doubleschesschampion@cox.net
The website will contain: opening theory; annotated games, including the
'Game of the century'; and examples of the attacks and defenses that have
shaped our style.

I hope you guys still play and the game takes off soon. That coffee table
rocks! I am currently making inlaid wood sets and I may sell some on EBAY
down the road. I also possess the elusive computerized version that is
invaluable for running variations. Also, I know a distributor of the board
game. Contact me.

I ended up making my own board out of an old round coffee table, a yard
stick, some paint & a couple $10 glass chess sets. makes a good piece of
furniture.

I love this game!!! All the strategies that work on a single board work on this board and it is the only double chess game that I can say that about. As mentioned above the site is down.... big bummer. If anyone knows how to get this game again would you please give me the information. robmwestcott@yahoo.com

Superb format for 4 player chess. This page seems to be out of date, but
you may be able to find more info here:

I was really hoping to find the Download link to play this on my PC but,
alas, it is not to be...

Looks like you can't order this one anymore. I play with some friends at work frequently. It's loads of fun. Combinations get really complicated with the turn rotation & multiple attack angles, especially when all players are competent.
